The first one is here: it is called Addictomatic
It is a new style of search engine which allows you to put in a key word as usual, but then goes and searches for information about that word in a lot of the Web 2.0 sites like Flikr, YouTube and Del.icio.us.
You get a lot of reasonable stuff that OTHERS have found on your topic. Useful given that most are generated by humans.
The second is a strange musical site called: Third Angle New Music Ensemble
Basically you can create musically fairly intuitively on your screen by moving your cursor back and forward and up and down. Your movements are recorded and put up on the screen for playback.
I am not sure if you can record and save it but it might be useful for background music.

I found this one again...
This presentation was the first I saw on TED.com.
It is a remarkably dynamic presentation on statistics - but not as we know it.
It shows the changing nature of statistics over the years.
Check it out - very much worth it.

Another superb video from TED
They just keep on coming.
This one is a bit shorter and it is on the fascinating diversity of creatures in the sea.
The kicker is in the last minute - it's jaw-dropping, so persist.
Here is it.

First post
I anticipate putting the collection of useful resources in this blog.
I hope to add a short description which might be helpful.
First one: the TED them of "How the Mind Works".
TED videos are usually good value and this collection on the brain and how it might work will be useful to most teachers of psychology.
